World Press Photo 2015

13 12 2015
Last Thursday 10th December we organised a guided visit in English to the World Press Photo 2015 exhibition  for the students of 3rd of ESO. The World Press Photo 2015 held at the Barcelona Contemporary Culture Centre (CCCB).
World Press Photo is an independent, non-profit organization with its office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where it was founded in 1955. It is known for organizing the world’s largest and most prestigious annual press photography contest with a traveling exhibition that is visited by over two million people in some 45 countries worldwide. It displays different pictures by international reporters and photographers dealing with diverse topics such as action, nature, art, daily life, international conflicts…
Our English guide showed us around the exhibition in a very interesting way. He told us about the story behind the photos and asked for our opinion on them. The students will use this infromation to choose their favourite photo and produce an essay about it.
We all had fun at the exhibition and we’d like tovisit it again next year. We recommend you to go and visit it.

Our Hong Kong’s exchange

2 12 2015

Hong Kong Exchange
